DANCING PILBOTS WITH DOGGY PILBOTS

These are some of my smaller Pilbot Buddies, around an inch and a quarter tall. I sculpt them using a pocket knife, initially to cut the overall area that will contain the figures. Then I cut out the figures using my scissors and then an Exacto knife for the detailed features. I very much enjoy doing these. I hope you'll enjoy them, as well.
I hope you will listen to my original music FREE OF CHARGE at: joebello.bandcamp.com if you haven't already done so. My album: "Never Too Late" features my pareidolia on the cover, depicting an audience attending a performance, with the performer onstage. I hope you'll like my music. I'm planning to release a new album in the near future, recorded at a studio in Pennsylvania recently. I also am part of a trio called "Fluid Drive" playing mostly locally. You can go to Facebook and check us out. I sing, play harmonica and bongos for the group.

A FISHY COLLIE

Last Friday, after enjoying a nice fish dinner, I decided to keep the box the fish came in at least for a while, not really expecting to see anything I hadn't seen before. But, as I turned the box and studied it further, this cuddly collie (or collie look-alike) began to materialize. So, I began to cut away and here is the result. I hope you like it. I included some of the left over pieces to give you an idea of the process. No pasting or anything else beyond cutting him out. "Just so's you know".

PILBOT BUDDIES

Here's a little diversion from the usual pareidolia from food packaging. I found this family among some plastic supplement bottles when I put scissors to them. Granted, they're a strange group, but family just the same. Don't forget to visit me at joebello.bandcamp.com to hear any of twelve of my original songs, FREE of charge. And visit me on YouTube. I also play music with two other guys, Mike and Rich, as a trio called Fluid Drive; look for us on facebook.

WHERE ART LIVES

A NEW TWIST on my usual food packaging pareidolia images here. I found these characters in one those free "Home" magazines I found at a rest stop on a road trip. They seemed to magically materialize as I put a ballpoint pen to the picture.

HOLLYWOOD LADY

These cheeses, green garnish, and tomato provided a comfortable setting for this sophisticated lady to rest in contemplation, in a bygone era.

FRUITY FEATHERED FRIENDS

These two were hanging around my other cut outs each begging to be put on. Then when I saw how they seemed to want to be together, I decided to let you all enjoy their beauty together.
It's been a while since my last post due to my musical interests.
Visit me at www.joebello.bandcamp.com - Never Too Late.

Pizza Crew Frolics In Cereal

Joining forces here, are characters I found in my latest frozen pizza box. I remembered I had a playground for the crew to play in. I dug up a scene of cereal splashing over milk, and Bam!

STRAWBERRY LADY

I found this alluring figure in my shredded wheat!  All milky and what not!  Sweet Strawberry Breakfast!  I had to cut her out and let her be her sassy self.  I didn't even have strawberries with my shredded wheat.  But, who cares?  I had a great visit with this pleasant lady then set her free for your enjoyment.

CHIEF

I
Here's a leader of people I saw, as I put my scissors to the picture on the box that contained the fish we had for dinner one night. A colorful character I thought you'd like to meet. The fish was tasty... Mmmm... Oh, by the way, the Chief is on the left. On the right is from whence he came.

DIVA FISH

I ate some delicious fish and thought I saw a lady eyeing me from the box it came in, as I stared at the picture on it. Frozen fish, a face frozen in time; could there be more? Sure enough, as I began cutting, careful not to hurt or disfigure her, she emerged, as though from behind the curtain of a stage, in all her glamour and celebrity.

Topping The Dance

This sweatered dancer is pretty cool, for a hot pizza with toppings guy.

FROM WHENCE THEY COME

Sunday, January 4, 2015

Here's a story about a dog and a pig found in a pizza amongst the cheese, veggies and dough, frolicking and making fast friends of one another. I rushed to free them to live in our world for better or worse. I offer them here for your viewing. Enjoy.
