PILGRIMAGE

Religion may be found in unlikely places.  So, who's to say these souls emerging from a meaty cheese pizza don't have a right to follow their calling, if that's what it is?

CELEBRATING OUR TENTH ANNIVERSARY OF THIS BLOG!

This is me demonstrating to a group of students at the Parkersburg, WV Adult Education Center the way I go about doing my particular brand of Pareidolia.  It is a genre I founded in the late nineties.
Pareidolia can take many forms. But, mine is unique in that I find my images within other illustrations or photographs from sources such as food packaging.
I find it satisfying to know that this art form, aside from serving an aesthetic purpose, also is good for the environment, as my sources are taken from food packaging otherwise discarded and adding to the planet's problem of trash overload.  In addition, my belief that this particular search, find and composing a piece of art is an excellent art form for newbies and particularly children.
I love finding extraordinary art in ordinary places. And that's what this art form does.  Thanks for coming and viewing.  I hope you enjoy and tell a friend.
THANKS TO YOU ALL ON THIS OUR TENTH YEAR!

HOT DATE

These cereal players had been around for some time.  I figured this to be a good time for them to make their debut, as they're going on their 'Hot Date'.

COMFY AND KEPT

Nice and homey in a special place, with a trusted companion one can always count on. Now that's true comfort.
Poultry, dressing, cereal and milk brought this poetic moment to mind.  I hope you like it.

CHEERY KIDS

These kids were mugging for a camera.  But, with my trusty scissors I freed them from a lonely fate and brought them here in your company.  I knew you'd like them and imagine their dance; the one they were doing on their way to freedom and stardom as this months featured special guests.

IT'S GENERATIONAL

A box of frozen hamburgers offered up this scene, after having enjoyed a nice dinner with the help of its contents.
I found this family on the box, in what looked to me, a decision making moment. I placed them on display: Inexperience versus wisdom - youth versus age; where lines are drawn and decisions affecting futures are made.
