FAMILY GATHERING

Family gatherings can be joyous.  But, who's going to take care of the baby, while the mother takes a much needed break to dance?!  If anyone needs a break, surely it's her!

TASTING

On the back of a frozen pizza box, an illustration pictured toppings lying on a wooden table.  And after some time of turning and viewing, the above vision began to materialize, as I worked my scissors to reveal a figure.  The figure appeared to be tasting something; likely something of the pizza inside the box.

LOUNGING ON A PILBOT

He used to live on the back of a pizza box when I found him. We placed the actual pizza in the oven.  It was delicious.  Later on, I cut him loose from the illustration on the back of the box among some of the ingredients. You can see how glad he was that I brought him out to venture into our world.  He looks really happy to me.

By the way, if you click on my book in the upper left, you can sample 'Free pages' from my book, Marine Tigers:  A NewyoRican Story.

I Wanna' Dance With Somebody

These two seem magnetized to one another now. But, I rescued them from two very different places.  I was having a hamburger over at the local Burger King, when I saw this tall figure on a place mat among some hamburger fixin's.  Well, I got out my folding scissors and cut him loose.

Later that evening, I was cutting this little lady out of her lonely place on a container of almond milk.  She had this look of longing on her face and I thought, "longing for what? - You poor thing."  Just then, I thought of the hamburger guy I'd cut loose from his lonely place mat - And - Here they are together! Don't they make a great couple!?

Mato Von Hamburg and Cat

These two interesting characters caught my eye as I munched on a delicious Burger King burger and fries and washing it all down with an iced tea.  I know not to treat myself to fast food too often.  But, I also believe in letting go once in a while.  And I was rewarded for .... Hmmm, I guess I was rewarded for balancing my eating habits in a practical way.  Because I found these two weird kind of whimsical characters. Hey! I Love these guys, man!
