TO EACH HIS OWN

I hope you'll enjoy this one as well as all of the entries. Feel free to comment. These guys each seemed so unique, I thought it a good opportunity to show you how my characters and subjects come about. I want to stress to you an important aspect of my pareidolic art that I'm afraid may be getting lost on some viewers: The fact that I do Not mark, paint, draw or in any way alter the images I find within the illustrations on the packaging. I simply cut what I see.
If you look closely at the bowls above you can trace the cuts that brought the characters to life. I think if you do that, you'll get a better idea of what I do and how I do it. I encourage you to try it with your own food package illustration. I feel satisfaction in finding art that would otherwise be lost; and what a waste that would be. I find the challenge fun and gratifying.

GREEN TEA LEE

Here's a little lady that caught my eye as she sprouted into view from a box of green tea. Some evenings I like a nice hot cup of tea even when hot weather temperatures seem to call for a cool drink, she cooled me down from the tensions of the day.

CARP 'N' DIEM

Make of it what you wish. But, these two are great buddies and always have been; essentially fish and salad who regardless of size, mingle very nicely. Oh, and they deliver a great message. They are Carp 'N' Diem.
ANNOUNCEMENT:  Hope you can make it to the Artsbridge Merchants and Artists Walk on Friday, June First, 2018 in Parkersburg, WV. I'll be exhibiting my pareidolic works in the Plaza beside the United Bank building, on Market Street; A nice place to take a break on a bench, under a tree and view my art.
Just down the street in front of Cham's Restaurant, I'll be sharing some time singing and making music with Mike and Rich in a trio we call Fluid Drive. I hope you'll stop by and say hello.

Inline Incline

Few things earn my time on line. I saw these Jello people waiting in line and thought: Better them than me. However, it's not a good idea to let children wander off. Families should stay together. But hey, that's just me.
In my book, Marine Tigers: A NewyoRican Story, I get into family life and family influences.
